"The owner and staff are great. We did not like the bed in the room we were in, but they were able to put us up in a different room. The breakfast staff especially Janie were on top of everything. Shelia was very friendly and helpful with the room change and our change of payment cards."

"I do not think we can write everything we would like to about this place. It was one of the best places we have stayed in up here in the high county. Has the room you need to move around, and it is easy to get to town and other places. We had nice walks with the dogs down to the water. Gaze at the deer in the yard every day, fed the hummingbirds on the back porch and just hung out. We would stay here again. "
"What a beautiful cabin to share a long weekend with our family! Plenty of space, and a wonderful setting. We really enjoyed hanging out on the back porch, happy hour at the awesome fire pit and floating down to Elk Shoals park a couple of times. Only wish we could have stayed longer! Beware, if anyone in your party is not good with stairs as there are lots of them! "
"This was an incredibly nice house to stay on the river. The inside of the home was spacious, comfy and very clean upon arrival. It's a very well-kept home. The hot tub was a fantastic addition since we booked the place back in January, and it was a great amenity to wind up having. We used it each night! The house is easy to get to and is in a convenient location to town. The steps, as described are indeed steep and numerous, so this wouldn't be the best option for anyone with mobility issues, but otherwise, it's a truly great home. The enclosed/gated deck was wonderful for the dogs to spend some time outside. We would definitely stay there again."

"This home was perfect for our trip to the mountains! It was clean and fully stocked. We enjoyed hiking, tubing in the river and spending time in beautiful downtown West Jefferson. All members of my family agree, we will rent this home again!"
"Parking is terrible, only small soap bars and no shampoo (be sure to bring everything). Queen bed is completely wore out, needs a new mattress. Other than that the home is nice but was only in town for two days to attend a large family get together. Water stopped working Saturday afternoon. Had to go to family place to get ready that evening. Water finally working Sunday morning at 8:30. Waited two days for the leasing agent to offer something for the water being turned off. Not waiting any longer. Will not use Stay Blue Ridge again and this owner needs buy a mattress for the queen bed and don’t be so cheap with toiletries. "
