"Love the apartment. It was very cosy for me and my husband. It had everything we needed and very close to everything, which is why I picked this place, as we didn’t rent a car. The host was very quick to respond with my questions and check in was very easy. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. I love the location. I highly recommend!"

Mirror in bathroom fitted under eaves so too low to see yourself in if you're over 4ft tall. No long mirror in apartment either and bedroom too dark to use mirror over dressing table. Pelmets above windows and blinds hanging slightly below them block light so what little light the windows provide is further obscured by the window dressings. "A lovely, clean and modern house, with everything we needed for our short stay. A 7 minute cab ride to the centre of York. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean.Just a heads up - the bathroom is downstairs, which we didn't notice on the listing, so our fault not the host's, but just to mention in case anyone is concerned about having to go downstairs in the night for the loo!Would happily stay again."

"Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. "
