"This property was better than the pictures! Amazing view & sunsets with plenty of space for our group. We brought our kayaks and bikes with us and used them daily with the private beach and bike path nearby. The lake was lovely and not too busy. We enjoyed the fire pit at night as well as the array of comfortable couches and recliners to watch movies. The only thing that seemed to be missing for us since we cooked most of our meals here were kitchen items. There weren’t any cookie sheets and the frying pans were non stick with many scratches. We traveled from Mi to visit family in Iowa. We would definitely stay here again. Our favorite trip to Iowa so far."

"This was our second stay at Ada's Guesthouse. Both stays were an excellent, 5 star experience. Very clean and well maintained historic house that is a short walk from the lake, with a large front porch to enjoy evenings in view of lake and large front lawn for kids to play. Great communication with the owner about check in procedures and anything else. Can't wait to return! A real jewel in Storm Lake. "
