Great location and cleaner than most dog friendly stays
The location was great! It was easy to walk to the beach or downtown. We had a dog and 2 kids with us so we appreciated the backyard however it would be nice to have some level of separation between where the dogs go potty and the kids play. One of the beds just about flipped over the first time we tried to get on it. The frame was clearly broke and the bed was being held up by poorly placed cinder blocks and a brick. Upon arrival the outside dog poo bags were empty and the trash was full. I communicated these problems and they seemed responsive so no deduction for this. The only problem I am deducting a star for is the lack of soundproofing specifically for unit B. We could hear cell phone conversations (at a normal volume) that were happening outside of the building. We could hear footsteps of a 2 year old child that was staying in the unit above us. We could also hear the neighbor and every beat and word of his music as he partied until 4 am. I get the impression that the owners are aware of this since there were sound machines in the room and ear plugs in the welcome basket. If you can sleep comfortably with ear plugs and don’t need to have an ear available to listen for your kids then all is good. If not you may want to try another unit. We got to know most of the other renters during our trip and from that small sample set it seemed the opposite side didn’t have as much trouble with noise.
