"I arrived at 3:15 pm and my room was not ready until 4 pm. I was told 3 housekeepers reported off that day. I was not given any compensation for having to wait. I would have been happier if the hotel clerk offered me a $10 discount for food at the hotel."

"Have stayed here a couple of times. Location is ideal in between Santa Cruz and Monterey. Surprisingly very quiet at night considering closeness to hwy 1. Bed are very comfortable, rooms are clean, overall location is almost perfect just need better restaurants within walking area."
