I have had to be here longer than expected but the staff has really made it a very peaceful stay, they are very helpful, they go out of their way to help you with something. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Pillows were a bit lumpy; the bed was comfortable; it was nice and quiet; the breakfast was marginal, so we only got coffee. Check out was easy and our gal at the desk yesterday afternoon was very nice.
The room was updated and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. We were only there for one night, so we did not use many of the amenities, but the price was affordable and the location is convenient for a trip to Holland. Overall, it was a good stay and I would recommend this AmericInn to others.
Staff was welcoming. They seem to be going through a renovation. The property was being painted during our stay and the carpet smelled brand new. The rooms were clean. They had a small breakfast but it was plenty!
This location is in the process of remodeling, so that was the only reason I didn't rate the appearance as excellent. The room was freshly remodeled. Very comfortable bed and plump pillows. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient to many attractions and the wedding venue we were attending
Okay place to crash for the night , hotel looks to be under renovations so the trash and debris os very visible. However the area has easy acess to food, gas, beverages etc..... The most disappointing was the complimentary breakfast no warm eggs hard boiled only no protiens all carbs unlike the other Wyndham's the selection was very poor.
The room we stayed in was on a floor that was being renovated. Half way down the hall you could see new hallway carpeting and peek into the renovated rooms which looked very nice, however our room was not renovated yet. Still our room was very clean and spacious, the carpet looked new, the bed was very comfortable, the tv worked, the mini fridge kept things cold and the a/c kept us cool. The lighting was in the bathroom needed to be brighter and a chair for the would have been helpful. The breakfast area was clean and an attendant kept things tidy and well supplied.
This facility had people just hanging out in the parking lot after dark. There were upsetting Halloween decorations everywhere and that was very dark and unwelcoming. The shower curtain rod was not securely fastened to the wall and looked like it would fall down. The buttons on the airconditioner unit were worn off and unresponsive. There were unpatched screw holes in the walls. The plate on the neck of the shower head wasn’t secured. There was a used washcloth hanging over the shower head from a prior guest. The toilet tank wasn’t filling properly. The breakfast was good. The window shades were good. The beds were comfortable.
The price was lower than other hotels in the area but upon arrival I regretted my choice because of the dark parking area and the above mentioned negatives. There was a look and feel that was disconcerting. I questioned safety for my family and felt obliged to inspect the room for hidden cameras because I felt like there was something shady about this hotel. The man who checked me in was efficient but not warm to talk with. When he requested a credit card that could be billed for $100 deposit it felt like somebody would be looking for a problem to peg on me. That’s why I took note of several things that were not in great comdition because I reported those outright to make sure that I wouldn’t be blamed and held responsible.
I would not recommend this hotel because I felt very uncomfortable for my families privacy and safety.
It was a great price, comfortable and clean room. I would stay again

Liked: Staff & service
One should know this hotel is in the process of being refurbished and only 50% complete. If you are given a newly refurbished room, all is well. However, if you are given one of the older rooms like we were, one could be miserable. The showers didn't work well and constantly dripped 24 hours a day despite turning the handle off. Also, it was very difficult to control the hot water flow. There were little pincher bugs everywhere. However, it fit our last minute needs at the time and so we made the best of it. The staff were really nice. Turn down service is only performed upon request.
The AmericInn by Wyndham in Holland was a major disappointment. Pulling into the parking lot gave immediate “episode of Cops” vibes. The exterior was being painted, many windows were covered in plastic, and the asphalt parking lot badly needed resealing.
The remodeled lobby was actually attractive and welcoming, but it was stuffy and humid. From there, things went downhill. The hallways have stucco walls and dated carpeting reminiscent of an ’80s roller rink or movie theater.
The pool area was especially bad. Paint was peeling, the surrounding concrete was cracked, and the pool itself was full of debris. Our room had apparently been updated, but the jetted tub looked original and was filthy. The shower was stained and mildewy.
To be fair, the property overall seemed relatively clean, and the continental breakfast was generous and well stocked.
My biggest issue is how misrepresented this hotel is online. The photos do not accurately reflect how dated, worn and tired the property actually feels. I understand renovations are underway, but at the price we paid, the condition was unacceptable. Extremely overpriced for the experience, and we would not stay here again.
