"Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. "A cute little cottage that was clean and convenient. It was a little over a half an hour drive to Acadia, and about ten minutes into downtown Ellsworth. My kids appreciated having their own bed. The host was quick to reply to messages, and check in/out was very easy. It isn’t a luxury cottage, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The photos are very accurate. The bathroom had plenty of towels, a good hairdryer, and a 3-1 body wash. Bring your own shampoo, or it was cheap to purchase...
