The Bird's Nest on Route 66 Great location right off the I-40

Holbrook is a quiet town in the heart of Route 66. My family has lived here our whole lives and love our town. We have a two story home with with a birds eye view of Holbrook and The historic Wigwam Hotel that was the inspiration for the Cozy Cone Motel in Disney’s Cars movie. The downstairs is for our guests and is comfortable, cozy and clean. We are 20 minutes to a four hour drive to The Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, Grand Canyon, Four Corners National Monument, Sedona and much more.

The downstairs getaway has three bedrooms, a full bathroom, living and dining area as well as a pool table. There is also a private patio where our guests can enjoy our Arizona weather with an amazing view of Holbrook. There is a walkway leading from the street where you will be able to park your vehicle and have private access to the back door. Our home is the perfect safe haven from solo travelers who like their space to groups of friends and families who may be traveling together. We have a mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker in your private dining area. We also provide paper/plastic plates, silverware, cups and napkins.

Each room has a T.V. with a DVD player and the private living room has cable and an apple T.V. . We have a selection of DVD's and board games for guests to use. There are individual coolers in each room to help make your stay more comfortable in the summer. You can enjoy a nice walk or bike ride around the friendly neighborhood.

Spacious accommodations

This property was full of amenities and every little detail that you could ever ask for or want. There were only two of us, but if you had a large group, there was only one toilet, which was a bit of an issue just for us.. She had a complete coffee bar as well as bread, milk, etc. a great touch of hospitality!

Comfy and cozy

My adult daughter and I stayed 2 nights while visiting the Petrified Forest. We felt very comfortable and we very much appreciated the bagels and coffee that were left for our breakfast. Shockingly several inches of snow arrived on our second night ( despite being mid April) We were warm and cozy at the Bird Nest. I recommend this VRBO to anyone coming to the area

Fantastic Stay at Bird’s Nest

We greatly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Bird’s Nest. Communication with the host was easy and the home was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. We had everything we needed supplied: from soaps, shampoos, hair dryer, plenty of towels to breakfast items like bagels, bread, juice, cereals, etc. Do not hesitate to book your stay at this wonderful location when you’re visiting the Petrified Forest and Holbrook, AZ area!breakfast items

Perfect for our short visit to the Holbrook area and petrified forest

This place had everything we needed for our short visit to the Holbrook area. Loved the walk down entrance and door to the backyard. It was all lit up when we arrived after dark. Very clean and orderly and had everything we needed. Even though it doesn’t have a kitchen, the it has kitchen appliances like mini fridge, microwave, toaster and the host had some extra food and coffee and tea for our use. We just brought some prepared food for our dinners.

Perfect getaway

I cannot express enough how nice this Vrbo is. We had three bedrooms all to ourselves, plus plenty of sitting room. The host was very communicative and had a bunch of info about the area in the living room. We were able to use that to plan out the rest of our trip. Plus she provided extras like bagels for us for our stay. We were sad we weren’t staying longer.

Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful time at the Bird’s Nest. The hostess Cindy was so kind and hospitable. The VRBO was very comfortable and had extra amenities we did not even expect. She even checked in to see if we needed anything else while we were there. She went above and beyond. The location was great. It was only 20 minutes from the petrified forest national park.

This sweet little place is roomy and comfortable. It is close enough to Petrified Forest Nat Park to travel back and forth each day. Cindy is a great and thoughtful host! Highly recommend.

Petrified Forest Stay

Older-style home filled with charm, lots of toys for the granddaughter to play with. Owners provided lots of thoughtful touches to make our visit a nice one. Only one bathroom was difficult for five of us.

Bird nest

Exactly as advertised. Only problem was NOT the property owners. Our rental car mapping was accurate on our 2,100 mile trek EXCEPT for this address. We entered it as advertised, which was correct, complete with the “west” designator. It brought us to the wrong house-by a bunch! We eventually found it. So beware your GPS!

Petrified Forest National Park Stay

Our two nights stay at this B&B was the perfect place for our visit to the Petrified Forest National Park. Cynthia was a great host with her provided breakfast items and home amenities. Would not hesitate to stay again when traveling through on I40.

Best place to stay near the Petrified Forest

This is my second stay here in the Bird Nest. It is very quaint, comfortable, immaculate and Cynthia goes out of her way to think of everything you would need. I would and will stay there again. I just love the Petrified Forest.

Very comfortable and highly recommended

The photos really do not do Cynthia’s house justice. It was much larger than expected and had a very homely feel to it. We were ahead of schedule and Cynthia very kindly allowed us to check in early. We met her soon afterwards and it is clear she cares about her guest’s comfort. She had left us plenty of breakfast food and other essentials. We were very comfortable throughout our stay and would highly recommend Cynthia’s house for a stop over in Holbrook.

Bird Nest Fabulous Stay

More than just as advertised. The Bird Nest was spotless and so cosy and comfortable. Didn’t miss a full kitchen at all. Fridge, toaster snd microwave were all we needed. There is a grill that we didn’t use but could of. Cindy and her husband were so kind. Close to the Petrified Forest where we had a great time.
