"Wonderful small, friendly hotel in the heart of Mürren. The room was nice, good firm bed, updated bathroom with good shower pressure, and a very nice breakfast. One improvement would be changing to regular glass in the dining room so you can see outside. The restaurant wasn't open the 3 nights we were there but there were plenty of other options."

"Lovely preserved hotel that brings you back in time right in the middle of Lauterbrunnen. Part of the front of the hotel was used in the James Bond movie “Her Majesty’s Secret Service” back in the 1960’s. The scenery from the hotel terrace and front patio is spectacular! However, I strongly suggest booking a larger room and not the single room for 1. It was tiny and I struggled with fitting an open suitcase on the floor. The bathroom was even tinier and if you are over 6’ - you will be hunched over - especially in the shower. But the great service and super restaurant made up for it. "
