"Lovely staff. Excellent safe parking for our 2 motorbikes. The room was great, good sound proofing, very comfortable. We would definitely stay again if in the area. We booked it to go to the museum just over the road."

"Zeer vriendelijke persoonlijke ontvangst door de host zelf. Alle comfort aanwezig.Zeer rustig gelegen verblijf in een authentieke oude watermolen. Prachtige natuur. Mooie propere fietspaden overal en zeer mooie aangeduide wandelingen.Een echte aanrader om tot rust te komen."

"Excellent breakfast, and free bottled still & sparkling water available at all times. The names of the rooms are very misleading. We booked a superior twin room. We questioned whether indeed we had been allocated the correct room, and were told that we had.The room was very small and no tea & coffee making facilities. A very basic room. However. it had a good size bathroom with a nice walk in shower. It also had a small balcony with 1 chair. We enquired about the next category up - "Privilege" room for our next stay in Hameln. This is a bigger room & does include tea & coffee and bathrobes. But alot more expensive. If you don't mind a smallish room and don't think "superior" just normal, this hotel is located conveniently in walking distance of the town (through the park). And to reiterate the breakfast is really good and the free supply of drinking water was very much appreciated. Especially as we stayed during a heatwave >38°. NB There isn't any air-conditioning in the hotel. But very few hotels in Hameln have air-conditioning. The breakfast staff were excellent and friendly and the majority of the receptionists were friendly. But one of the younger female receptions was quite surly. We didn't see or use the sauna or swimming pool."

"Wir waren mit 4 Frauen eine Woche hier und haben es genossen, jeweils ein eigenes Schlafzimmer und Bad zu haben (ein Bad liegt allerdings eine Etage unter dem Schlafzimmer).Empfang und Abreise verliefen ohne Kontakt zueinander, aber sehr unkompliziert (Schlüsselkasten). Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet - genauso war auch der Empfang mit Kuchen, Marmelade, Obst und Naschereien. Danke!Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet (z.B. gute Töpfe).Hervorragend fanden wir, dass sämtliche Fenster mit Fliegengittern versehen sind. So wurden wir von lästigem Ungeziefer verschont.Das Haus hat eine alte Holztreppe, über die man leider nicht leise gehen kann. Wenn also jemand nachts ins untere Bad zur Toilette musste, so war das nicht leise zu bewerkstelligen. Aber es hat uns nicht so sehr gestört und macht vielleicht auch einen Teil vom Charme des Hauses aus. - An die vielen Stolperkanten hatten wir uns auch relativ schnell gewöhnt.In den Garten muss man eine (für uns Senioren) recht steile, kleine Treppe hinunter, was uns teilweise ein bisschen Probleme machte. Aber der schöne Garten und der Sonnenschein in den ersten Tagen lockten uns immer wieder ins Freie. Super, dass man diese Möglichkeit hat.In der Umgebung kann man eine Menge entdecken und unternehmen. Uns hat die Woche sehr gut gefallen und gut getan!"

"This hotel had clean, comfortable rooms. Having an onsite restaurant for dinner was a nice benefit. Good breakfast buffet too. The only negative was that no one was available at the front desk for check even though we rang the bell and waited a while. We ended up going to the restaurant and alerting them, which took care of us."
