Architecturally renovated, its iconic original features such as floorboards, staircase, exposed brick and fireplace have been retained and complemented with contemporary kitchen with bar fridge, bathroom and outdoor courtyard.
Downstairs the cottage offers a relaxed lounge room with original featured fireplace, beautifully designed kitchen with dining area, bathroom and outdoor space.
The kitchen offers a warm meeting space with wall-to-wall bi-fold doors opening to a sunny tiered landscaped courtyard to offer space and light to entertain and relax.
High end premium finishes and appliances create a sleek and minimal, yet inviting space in the beautifully designed kitchen.
The master bedroom with Queen sized bed features built-in bed frame, original decorative fireplace, work/study nook and built-in-robe.
Upstairs, the second bedroom is perfect for a shared kids room, with three single beds in a large attic style space. Using the original exposed brick as design features, the light-filled space is a relaxing retreat.
Located in the hub of South Hobart’s café and retail precinct, grab a coffee or bite to eat across the road at Bear with Me café, or take a short stroll to Ginger Brown. To stretch the legs, take a scenic walk along the Rivulet trails. Walking distance to Hobart CBD and Salamanca Place, or jump on a bus with stops on Macquarie Street.

Located in South Hobart’s buzzing precinct for retail, lively eateries, and fresh produce, coffee options are plentiful with Bear With Me Café just across the street, or Ginger Brown 5 minutes away.
Visit the iconic Cascade Brewery, Australia’s oldest existing brewery - 3 minutes away by car, or a 20-minute stroll from the home. Near the Brewery you’ll find Cascade Female Factory, a historically significant site to learn more about Tasmania’s female convict history.
The popular Rivulet Track is just across the road, where you can wander by the stream’s edge to the base of Mt Wellington/kunanyi.
Bus stops are just metres from the doorstep, and run regularly to take you into Hobart or the local South Hobart attractions. If you feel like stretching your legs, Hobart’s CBD and the cultural hub of Salamanca Place is just a 25-minute walk.

Use the well connected Metro Tasmania bus services to get you around town. Neuron and Beam Scooters are available to rent via apps, as well as Taxis and Uber, or you can rent your own car.
