"Room and bathroom good but fighting seagulls at 2 am in the back alley was very unpleasant. Also no kitchen facilities - essential if you call yourself a hostel and showers in the basement through the pub no great situation. Fun place, nice atmosphere and great pub in the middle of it all. "

"We were extremely satisfied with our stay here. This guesthouse had flexible check-in, a spacious and welcoming room, cozy beds, and a nice clean bathroom. We were also provided breakfast the next morning which is always a wonderful touch. All in all, this place is well worth the stay (and conveniently located near Akureyri on the ring road)"

"Great location. While I was here they were transitioning into some newly acquired space. Getting around the property was a little odd but of course this will be temporary. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The back of the property walks out to public parking and the front walks out to a pedestrian promenade with shops and restaurants."

"We were thrilled with our 2 bedroom apartment. The views of the fjord were incredible, the apartment was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was fabulous! Check in and out were seamless. Highly recommend and will stay here again if we are ever in Akureyi again! "

"This property was a modern, clean cottage a few minutes up from Akureyri center. It was not an issue for us to take a few minutes to drive where we wanted to go. The setting is peaceful and offers great views. The home itself was very comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed except for one seemingly minor but nonetheless annoying thing: the coffee mugs wouldn’t fit under the coffee maker.Aside from that, everything was perfect. The hot tub & neighborhood playground were especially enjoyed by our boys. And mom appreciated the washer and dryer (that fully dried clothes!) and available detergent. The host was reasonably responsive. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations! "

"As beautiful as the property was, the condition of the showers were poor and made this stay very hard. We emailed the property owners after the first day that one shower was not draining, and the other shower had a showerhead that was coming out of the wall. They communicated back that they were going to send somebody to fix it, but no one came. The last day of our stay, somebody who looked like a property manager, perhaps showed up at our property unannounced and looking around the property which scared our children. We were very disappointed with the professionalism of the property managers to fix the issues in a timely manner and to communicate properly when doing a site visit without permission. It was an invasion of privacy!"
