"Hotel Amalias Hus was in a great location- close to downtown and great hiking trails behind the property. The food was delicious- lovely 3 course breakfast with lots of choices and dinner was also very good. A quaint, historic property with lots of little seating areas outside to enjoy a book or a drink. All the staff were extremely accommodating. Forget to mention there are nice views of Lake Vättern from the dining room."

"If you are after a truly Swedish experience, this must be it. Located next to a lake, which gives it its name, the hotel offers old world charm. An excellent breakfast and good dinner round it off. Just keep in mind that this is an historic property so rooms are a little smaller but cozy and with good beds."
