We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and taking the train into Freiburg was very easy and made our time lass stressful as we didn't need to worry about driving. The neighbourhood was quiet at night, but there was a fair bit of noise from about 7 am as shopkeepers started to set up market stalls. The area was a delight to walk through, and it was also wonderful to see how many people arrived and departed on the frequent trams that travelled along the narrow streets."
