"Acadiana holds a special place in our heart. We found the perfect getaway with the most beautiful atmosphere with old moss draped majestic oaks, the Mermentau River on site and a very caring owner Brad. We rented Anchors Away and it had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the covered dock for Happy Hour and having our coffee on the screened patio. The place was as described, and decorated in a cute nautical theme. It was so peaceful watching the fish jumping and birds flying around. Brad has a dock and it was fun watching the boats go up and down the river. C’est Bon is a great family owned Cajun restaurant, very low key and is just around the corner. The food was very good. We do plan to return again perhaps in the fall or spring."

"The house was very clean and smells good, the next door neighbor staying in the other part of the house was very nice ! We wanted to play games but the only thing was the grass not cut .. Until Saturday. Over all a good place to stay and I will return again! Thanks"
