"Excellent New Hotel — Great Stay! We had an excellent stay at the Hampton Inn in Cave City, KY. The hotel is brand new, and it really shows. Everything was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and in great condition. Our room was spacious, with a large, comfortable bedroom and a great king-size bed. The hallways are also noticeably wider and more spacious than many hotels, which gives the entire property a very open and comfortable feel. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of food and everything fresh and well prepared. It was a definite highlight of the stay. Overall, this is a very nice, well-kept hotel with friendly, comfortable accommodations. We had absolutely no issues during our stay and would definitely stay here again when we're in the Cave City area. Five stars all around! Highly recommended."

"Room was spacious and fairly comfortable. Overall, it was fairly quiet and a good stay. The biggest drawback was our toilet tank apparently had a slow leak so whenever it would get low enough to "refill" it would be a high-pitched squeal. This was also after every time the toilet was used. So it woke us up several times during the night. It was better the second night when we slept with the door shut."

"This house exceeded my expectations in nearly every way. If you are going to Mammoth Cave National Park and need a well kept, spacious, and affordable place to stay, this is it. The house has 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen. It is ideal for two couples. It also has a large sectional with a couple of recliners built in where one or two could sleep if needed. The kitchen has all the normal amenities, and there were plenty of spare sheets, blankets, and towels. The WiFi was fast and there are three smart TV's with HDMI inputs if you need them. It's 15 minutes from the park visitors center and less than 10 from all the restaurants in Cave City. Truly, my only complaint was that I was hoping for better water pressure in the shower but it's regulated more like a hotel to save water. Not a huge deal in the total scope of things. I will absolutely stay here again if it is available next time I'm in the area."

"Communication was proactive and showed a genuine concern for our comfort during our stay. There was an error in double booking on the property’s end and they made extra accommodations for us and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The owner is a very kind person and reached out on a few occasions to ensure we had everything we needed. The cabin was beautiful, well maintained, and clean, and had great amenities for cooking. We enjoyed the brand new grill outside and also used the fire pit and enjoyed the local hiking trail. It is close to Mammoth Cave and we really enjoyed spending half the day at the park then relaxing at the cabin for the rest of the day. Highly recommend!!! (Side note - we are now at our next cabin destination of our road trip and we are missing the comfort and amenities at Maple Retreat!)"

"We stayed two nights with our three boys. They loved having so many sleeping spots to pick from and we loved that they were downstairs and we were upstairs. The kitchen had everything we could need including good steak knives for when we grilled. It was spacious and comfortable and Tonya was great to chat with."
