"I have stayed here previously so was happy to book again. However the room this time was a disappointment; next to the lift so obviously very noisy, bathroom rather unpleasant damp smell. Good that we were only there for 2 nights or I would have complained. Overall still a nice place to stay as the location is very convenient for me to visit family in the area."

"We had a 3 night stay here. The room we stayed in had a table with a basket of teas, instant coffee and cookies. They leave a half pint free voucher. The inn was in a great location, less than 10 minutes walk to the train station. We had dinner on Sunday night, the roast beef dinner was very good. "What a great place to say. Really great location for sight seeing around the area. We had two units next to each other, both were super comfy. Nicky, the owner is so welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast is amazing. We will definitely be back."

We rang the doorbell numerous times too. Finally a man who lives downstairs let us in, informing us that "they never answer their phone"."

"The property is on the banks of a stream with the constant sound of a waterfall which gives it a certain ambience. Rooms very clean and staff very friendly end helpful. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent. Convenient bus service to and from Huddersfield stopping right outside."
