"This is our very first time staying at a Hostel which is beyond our expectations. The two receptionists who helped us checked in and checked out were above and beyond; the breakfast was exceptional; the location is unbeatable, just right next to the Interlaken Ost Station, super convenient, we highly recommend this place to EVERYONE !!"

"Beautiful hotel, with very spacious rooms which are like mini apartments! Balconies have a stunning view of the mountains and lake. Great parking directly outside the hotel. Rooms have two levels, with kitchen and living space upstairs, and bathroom/bedroom downstairs. Breakfast was wonderful, great service from staff and picturesque view. Will definitely chose this hotel again. "

"Our stay at the Bären was fantastic. The staff is absolutely wonderful, friendly, accommodating. The Hotel and room is very clean. We were able to do early check in and our room had a little fridge and microwave, which was fantastic because we travelled with a toddler. They also put in a little bridge between the two single beds so we could all sleep in the big bed, no baby bed needed. The location is so close to all public transit and endless restaurants and shopping opportunities. It's very close to the parliament building. There is a public market on Saturday and Sunday everything is closed (shops, grocery stores) but restaurants/coffees are open. Overall a great location, quiet (if you get the courtyard rooms) and a very pleasant stay."
