"Nice cottage just a short walk from a small beach with occasional local visitors. The walk into Hillsborough is easy and a colorful immersion into the local scene. The breakfasts and dinners at the roundhouse are exceptional! Great place if you’re looking for a slower paced vacation!"

Very private, stunning sunsets
"Moira was a good communicator through WhatsApp. The sunsets were stunning and you could see the sail boats at Sandy Island. Mid day gets hot with no AC so we went to the beach and did exploring in the afternoons. Sleeping was comfortable enough under the ceiling fan."

Nov 3, 2019Hillsborough is a quaint town right out of earlier century. This makes it very fascinating for me! There is a unique attraction about this that certainly would make me want to return to this place.

May 2, 2019Classic small island town, keep in mind most things shut down after dark, on Sundays, and holidays. Recommend Mermaid Hotel and Kayak Kafe for lunches!
