It was just as beautiful as the pictures, loved the view of the river, close to our daughter, loved cooking meals in the spacious kitchen & we loved ordering our food from The Port which was just up the road. The host (Holly) was very responsive and helpful. Hope to come back again!"

"We enjoyed this cabin in spite of it’s fairly remote location. The deck, front porch, sunroom and fire pit gave it a homey and relaxing feel. The beds were very comfortable, and there were nicely renovated bathrooms. The property is a bird lovers’ paradise, with multiple feeders in the yard."

"My partner and I spent a long weekend here and completely enjoyed ourselves. The house is serene and perfectly tidy. We spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch watching birds on the water. This property is also a great home base for exploring other interesting towns in the area: Boscobel, Viroqua, Spring Green, etc. We will definitely be back!"

"Other than the fact that we came in the blizzard of Jan. 2024, this place was perfect for us. It had more than ample space for 11 people to sleep. The hot tub was an added bonus for a few of our group. One slept next to the fireplace on our last night. Enjoyable week of fishing
"My husband is a flying fisherman learning more about his hobby. This was our second trip to the Driftless and a second chance to stay in a property owned by Jake and Becky. The Arcadian Cabin is a wonderful location to stay for our trip out this time. It is comfortably furnished with lots of little welcoming additions to help make the stay easy. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. The one bedroom downstairs was perfect for our stay with just the two of us. The loft above was equally nice if we need the extra room. Cozy and comfortable are the best description I have for the cabin. The location of the site was perfect for fishing, wandering around the area, and enjoying all of the great food in Viroqua. Restaurants and stores were nice to visit and provided great service. We are already planning our next visit and hope to find the Arcadian Cabin at Bishop's Branch open and waiting for us. Thanks Jake and Becky for providing a nice atmosphere for all who come by to share the view, activities, and nature."
