'Liebstrasse Hideaway' is filled with different animal furs, exposed stone walls, and a variety of beautiful outdoor murals.

Start your day by enjoying a cup of coffee at the 4-person breakfast bar under the massive decorative log. Converse with your friends about which winery you want to visit first while gazing out of the floor-to-ceiling windows lining the living room.

On the days that you’re not out on the winery circuit, relax on the comfortable 3-person couch and watch your favorite show on the flat-screen cable TV with Roku streaming.

Prepare a top-notch dinner with your loved ones in the fully equipped kitchen complete with a variety of cooking utensils, a 5-burner gas stovetop, a complimentary 6-pack of beer, and spotless wooden cabinetry. Uncork your favorite bottle of Willamette Valley wine, and walk out to the outdoor dining space to enjoy your culinary creations!

There is no better way to finish a night than by roasting marshmallows around the outdoor fire pit and looking up at the star-lit sky while everyone shares their favorite part of the day. When it's time to hit the sack, head into the cozy bedroom to slip into a deep sleep on the king bed.

The apartment is situated on the ground floor of a lush 14-acre plot of land. Walk past the furnished patio, and you’ll find a series of hiking trails, walking paths, and scenic views of this forested area!

Head out to explore the local eateries surrounding Newberg on the night's that you don't want to cook. Subterra Restaurant is a quick 21-minute drive from the property and is a local favorite for contemporary American classics, such as blue crab truffle risotto and chicken roasted under a brick.

There are a variety of different wineries to choose from in Willamette Valley, but if you had to pick just a few, be sure to check out the closest ones to the property, including Ponzi Winery, Raptor Ridge Winery and Ruby Vineyard.

If you prefer hops to grapes, drive 18 minutes to reach the Two Kilts Brewing Company. This unique local brewery offers an indoor as well as an outdoor seating area with a multitude of delicious creations to sample!

Peaceful and Great Location
The property is in a great location and is very peaceful. It also spacious and well equipped. Tom was an outstanding host having a bottle of wine waiting for us and various food items in case we did not have a chance to shop before we arrived. He even sent us home with fresh eggs! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a perfect time here. The owners were very helpful and the place was relaxing and a great stocked kitchen a couple bottles of Pinot - nice shower. Close to many things but just a bit out in the country. I highly recommend and so does my wife.

April & Tom super-exceeded all of our expectations -- the beauty and comfort of their place, welcoming us as we arrived late in the evening, stocking the kitchen with fresh fruit and essentials, filling the fridge with beverages, providing a welcome bottle of wine -- and now our visits in other places will always be measured in comparison to their graciousness. A great getaway
My husband and I stayed here for a week to decompress. We were 100% able to do that here. Tom and April are wonderful hosts that provide anything you need to make you comfortable. There are walking paths around the property, which make for a fun little hike, and there are a few vineyards close by if you'd like to stop in for a tasting or two. The wi-fi is definitely spotty, so I wouldn't plan to work from this location and have zoom calls. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Tom and April for your hospitality.

Secluded retreat in wine country
Wonderful, secluded apartment. Very clean and attention to details. Owners are on property and very friendly. Amazing view of Mount St. Helens from kitchen window on clear day. Similar view of Mount Hood at intersection w/main road 3/4 miles away. Fruits, eggs, pastries, wine and beer provided by owner were very nice touch as were the surprise birthday pastries. Location also provides easy hike in woods. Within 20 minute drive of many wineries. Slightly off beaten path but still easily accessible to many tastings. Exactly what we were looking for.

Tom and April were the best hosts! My children, husband, and I had a great time eating on the patio and exploring the woods/creek. The kitchen was well stocked and overall our stay was comfortable and relaxed. The bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked, but we all slept pretty well regardless.

Loved this place. Great start to our vacation.
Great place to stay if you love some peace and quiet, and like being within 40 minute drive of at least 30 wineries. Fully stocked kitchen made it almost too easy to stay in, and not go out to eat unless you really wanted to. Great view of Mt. Saint Helens from the kitchen was awesome. The owner, Tom, was wonderful. He'll try to accommodate any needs you have, with plenty of suggestions for things to do in the area, and stay out of the way if privacy is what you crave. We'll likely stay here again on our next trip.

Great Getaway!
A terrific place to stay. Very unique setting and apartment. The property is even better than the pictures and everything you need is provided by Tom and April. They are wonderful hosts. Great location for wine tasting, visiting museums, hiking to waterfalls and the Ape Caves. We enjoyed sitting in the patio for breakfast and dinner and of course just sipping wine. We were surprised to see deer and her fawn just off the patio, an incredible experience!

We really liked the property location. The owner who also lives upstairs was very gracious and accommodating. I agree with other reviews that the apartment itself is delightfully quirky. The apt. was very well equipped and stocked with various amenities. The one and only negative I have is the bed....it is a foam mattress on wood which we found uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend this rental if the bed was a good standard box spring and mattress. I didn't see the other reviews voicing this concern until after we booked.

Such a sweet couple! April and Tom went out of their way to make our stay memorable and fun! My son turned 14, and they provided s’mores, cake and a gift! The place is beautiful and serene- also close to beautiful vineyards and farms.

Overall - Fantastic! This is a super, attractive, and very comfortable place to stay. And I say "comfortable" because many places look good but may not feel very livable. This place is tops. Hosts were great and the rental, inside and outside property at the rental, and location were all as described. Really appreciated all the detail that went into finishing and furnishing the place. The home is a very beautiful place and the host is a very gracious man. The weather wasn't the best. the day of my sons wedding the sky's cleared and God gave us a beautiful day. The only drawback was the mattress on the king bed. It really needs a nice mattress instead of a foam pad. Someday we will book it again.
