"This was our second stay in the last few days due to a death in the family. The staff was so kind. Our room was really nice and our daughter loved the pool again. The breakfast was great: the waffle maker was a huge hit"

"The location was everything we needed.. private, peaceful, and picturesque! The amenities were just as described and made for a relaxing stay.The cons: The grill was not clean when we arrived (it had wet old coals inside) and was in poor condition overall. I spent about an hour cleaning it out, so this amenity could definitely use some improvement. The bed mattress covers also need replacing, as they had loose debris and visible stains.Other than that, everything else was wonderful. Thank you for providing a great weekend getaway!"

"This is a nicely updated, well appointed cottage. Sparkling clean. Excellent communication with the host. We very much enjoyed the peace and quiet on this low- wake lake. The beauty of the natural area across the lake and wildlife viewing was enjoyable. The furnished patio was the 'chef's kiss'. As we often do, we brought bottled water for cooking and drinking. There was wi-fi access. Lots of interesting Great Lakes history and family friendly activities within a short drive."
