We love Wave Street Inn! So close to Cannery Row. The room was comfortable and clean. I usually find something wrong about a place but not here. Plenty of towels, very clean shower, comfy bedding. There’s a couple of fire pits they light on the second floor and plenty of chairs to hang out. Just so very pleased all around.*Please note: they do charge a parking fee for each day of your stay but you know what? You’d be paying to park in a garage or lot anyways. Excellent stay; would do it again with family

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was cute and comfortable.

Great walkable location. Quiet clean rooms. And most important honest staff with amazing integrity!! One person in our group lost $150 out of her pocket without realizing it. We returned from supper and the amazing evening staff person flagged her down and returned the cash. I am awed and humbled by the character demonstrated by this act of kindness. Just can’t say enough good things! We have stayed here several times and it’s always a great experience.

I liked everything about it. It was close to places we wanted to visit. The staff was very nice and polite and the breakfast was perfect to get you going in the morning.

Pretty qnd nice hotel. Had hot breakfast and if you dont want to eat in the hotel there are a bunch of restaurants near by.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Cottage was amazing and very appropriate for a 4-person family. So much better than a hotel room! My daughters did not want to leave and are already asking when we can go back. Breakfast and snacks available made the mornings and afternoon munchies very easy. Great selection of DVD's. We will be making this our annual vacation place for sure!

Sure place to be when going to Monterey

Convenient location where you can walk everywhere you want to go in Monterey. Beautiful, clean property with a superbly friendly staff. We've stayed here several times and it never disappoints!

Colton Inn was just what we wanted, quaint and within walking distance from many wonderful restaurants, shops, in a gorgeous area.

The rooms are large here. I stayed at 3 properties in the area and this was by far the best. There was so much room we could fit 5 piece of luggage, have space to work and not trip in our stuff. I loved the restaurants and Dust Bowl Brewery. Less tourist VS Cannery Row. Breakfast burritos everyday were perfect. The hot tub wasn’t working properly and that was the only downfall.

My overnight stay was wonderful! The ocean is about two blocks away. The rooms are about the size of a small bedroom with an attached full bathroom. It worked for me :)

Pacific Gardens Inn is wonderfully located across from a beautiful beach and walking paths. It is close to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary, Natural History Museum and other attractions. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. It is lovely, cozy and quiet! The fireplaces inside the rooms are awesome!

We enjoyed our stay-cation here over New Years. We live in the area but have always wanted to stay at Merrit House. It is adorable on the outside and our room was as well. There was a wood burning fireplace in the room and we were offered wood if we were interested in using it. The bathroom had a modern updated look while the room itself held the charming look of older days. We were on the first floor with a walkout patio to the cute courtyard.
