"Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). Thanks for the recommendation of Dougies taxis as well, this was really helpful and they were great with really friendly drivers. Lovely location and house, particularly the garden. "Spacious property, good shower. The top floor ceilings low, my partner couldn't stay straight. A bit dusted. Good for a family, children tablewear. Lack of coffe machine. Tiny garden ( patio)"

"This is an excellent house in a nice York neighbourhood, with easy access to the city centre. The property is beautiful and very well-maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."

"This property is seriously lacking in basic amenities that usually come as standard in any rental property, for example:No coat hooks on the ground floor meaning you need to leave your coat over the back of a chair - not great if there are more than 4 of you in the property.You advertise a fully equipped kitchen however there is no teapot, no coffee maker or cafetière, no dishwasher and the hob and oven were so dirty that we could not use them. The one issue we had this time was that it was late November and very cold, and the heating had not been switched on before we arrived. "Our stay was absolutely phenomenal!! Walking distance to everything, we had SO much fun!! House was super comfortable, and was pleasantly updated with everything one might need. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!"

"Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome.
