"This is a really wonderful hotel. From the moment we stepped through the front door, there was such a lovely warm welcoming friendly feel to the place. The staff were all wonderful, too many to mention by name, but every one of them being extremely professional, helpful and friendly. Emma, on reception, really made this place as she was friendly, bubbly, always happy and smiling and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in room 11, which was a feature room overlooking the garden and this was an extremely spacious room, beautifully decorated. We will definitely be returning to Stratton house Hotel & Spa. "

"Absolutely stunning Georgian mansion converted to a hotel and winery. Separate glass roofed dining pavilion. Beautiful views across the valley from the large windows. One amazing place! You feel like landed gentry staying here (but the price was very reasonable) A must do if you are travelling through this area and not far from Bath."

"We chose this place because it was close to the City of Bath - but not in the City, and its on the River. It's a beautiful spot, the Old Mill waterwheel still runs, it's super peaceful. There is a restaurant, the food and service were great - even though the Chef only started a week ago. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Highly recommend the Old Mill Hotel in Bath."

"My only negative would be the beautiful exterior being hid by the scaffolding as they were having work done. That and the hike up the hill from the train station. We should have called an Uber. Delightful staff and enjoyable morning breakfast in the hotel. Nice comfy room and bathroom. "
