Great

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They have a great cafe and breakfast is included in your stay. You can park at the railway station close by and take a shortcut to the property. Room was lovely. You need to be able to go up stairs.

Room was very nice, clean and had everything i needed. Staff was helpful and checked on me often.

Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Plenty of seating in the common areas and a beautiful view from the porch. Staff were very accommodating and friendly—had a reservation mix-up on our end and they were very helpful in sorting it out

Clean, nice tv, great shower. Breakfast is awesome. Great selection of beers & bar snacks.

Wonderful staff, spotless, and great food. Loved our two-night stay.

Very nice pub and small hotel. Great food.

The Golden Lion was absolutely wonderful and we will stay here again the next time I come to Bridgnorth to visit my musician friends. The room was surprisingly large and bathroom up to date for the historical age of the building. It was very relaxed, they served a lovely traditional UK breakfast and accommodated my gluten free needs as well as flexibility on our check in time due to a rehearsal I had to get to. Beautiful building and location

I’ve now stayed at this hotel a few times. It is a very nice comfortable hotel convenient for my needs. Restaurant and staff very pleasant. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The best staff! Very welcoming and helpful. Everything was easy and we had a wonderful breakfast each morning. Gorgeous views and grounds!

Thank you for great hospitality

Stayed at Brockencote in early September 2026. It was a very enjoyable visit. Highly recommend for peace and quiet, friendly staff, beautiful location, safe and easy parking, short distance to many local attractions. Must do's include Harvington Hall, Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle, Black Country Living Museum, Worcester. It is also not too far from Cotswolds tourist sites. The staff were excellent. I would be remiss if I did not thank Tom, Josh and Angela in the bar area for their...

This was our second stay at The Hundred House and once again they were utterly wonderful. It's a beautiful location, a stunning historical building, with faultless hospitality and exceptional food. The location is perfect for Ironbridge, the RAF museum at Cosford, or Telford itself, and compared to the prices of boring chain hotels in the area it is staggeringly good value. I'm sure we'll be back again in the future.
