Norton Creek Lodge is a great family home all on one level, nestled by a singing stream. Private setting without being lonely. The living room has floor a floor-to-ceiling stone wood-burning fireplace and a Smart TV. Large country kitchen with Jenn–Aire grill has an adjoining dining area for 8, full bath (tub/shower) next to 1st Bedroom (twins) and 2nd Bedroom (full-size twin built-in bunks), two split bedroom Master suites- one has a King AND Queen bed and full bath( tub/shower), the other has a King bed, full bath (shower only) , TV and entrance to deck. Large BONUS room has laundry, an office area with wireless high-speed internet access (May – November-30), Queen Futon, bunk beds, an entrance to the deck, and TV and games. The covered porch overlooks the stream and rockers, a picnic table, and lots of room. Air conditioning and humidity control systems are great for allergy-prone people.

The occupancy limit is EIGHT and is set by the Macon County septic rules- There are many sleeping areas to choose from at Norton Creek Lodge as a courtesy, not an invitation to fill the home. Please abide. We want you to enjoy every minute while you're here!

Adventurous yet restful

Our family loved our stay at Norton Creek Lodge. The creek just off the porch was my granddaughters favorite. She put on her red rain boots, climbed the rocks and explored. The set up of the house was great. We have one family member who doesn't sleep well. The wing of the house with the master bedroom and extra sitting area was great for him. The house is well stocked with towels, and blankets. The kitchen is stocked well also, but bring your own spices. We were able to explore many of the waterfalls in the area and had hikes to suit all of our family members. It is close to everything. We already are talking about coming back in 2025.

Norton lodge

This is pretty good for a family, but it was a bit shabby, carpet very stained, and generally a bit rundown. Technology was excellent....TVs and internet very good, telephone reception poor. Very dark, but our impression affected by unseasonably cool and wet weather. We had friends for 2 nights and they were ok with the accommodations.

A nice spot not far from downtown. I loved the seclusion, and having a creek behind the house was so relaxing. Fabulous porch! We would stay again.

Perfect Family escape

Our family of 7 had a beautiful long weekend of hiking, fishing and relaxing by the fire pit while the kids played in the stream. The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. Bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable! The kitchen was well-equipped.
