Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch
8/10 Good
"Over all, our stay was fine. Staff was very kind. We visited for an event that took place in one of the 2nd floor ballrooms where I was a vendor. The food served for us at breakfast was delicious. However, one of the first things that happened to me upon getting to our room was my mother coming out from the bathroom and going, "Uh, someone pooped in our shower?". Turns out, it was just a very convincing rust spot, so I'm glad we didn't complain and look completely foolish, but still. The beds were comfortable though, and the water ran quite hot. The halls are a bit of a twist-and-turn to navigate and we were on the side of the building facing the MLK Bridge, which is a nice view. You are, however, literally right next to the Arch. All you have to do is step outside on Chestnut street and look to your left. The bar and common areas downstairs were nicely furnished; I spent some time with my laptop down there while my travel companions turned in early. Interesting spot to people watch. They also have a designated area for DoorDashers and other delivery folks to leave items, but I was usually waiting for them right at the door. My only complaint is that parking is far too high! We parked down the street a bit instead, and other than our GPS leading us on the longest route back to the hotel imaginable, we saved at least $50 on our two night stay, and the garage was perfectly walkable, even with our luggage and vending supplies."
Pear Tree Inn St. Louis Airport
10/10 Excellent
"The front desk staff was very helpful, nice, and friendly. The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I enjoyed the various happy hour events and the continental breakfast. I’ll definitely book again!"
Clayton Plaza Hotel & Extended Stay
8/10 Good
"Even though most of the reviews were great, I was still skeptical because I've had a horrible experience at a highly rated hotel. I must say, the people were telling the truth! The staff was super nice, and the rooms were cleaned. I especially like being able to control the shower temperature digitally. The only downside is that the light in the room is super dim, not great for older eyes. Also, some of the furniture in the room could stand a good deep cleaning. I spray everything down like a mad woman, though. The breakfast buffet was good; however, it never changed in the 3 days I was there, and things like the hash browns and oatmeal were cold. The pool was warm, but could stand a cleaning. Overall, I would stay here again because it was within a 15-minute drive from all of my activities, and as I said, the staff was very nice."
