"Beautiful spot! Very clean neat house. Gorgeous views and plenty to do in the area. Getting to and from the lake below the house is a bit of a steep incline on rocks for steps. Otherwise, beautiful property!"

"PROS: good lake view, dock, 4 kayaks, safe neighborhood (if you want privacy, this is a con), easy check in and out, toiletries were well stocked, cozy, rustic and relaxing, Ingels' donuts, Slab Pizza, Fusion Spa, Signal Ridge MarinaCONS: 177 stairs btwn cabin and dock, 20 steps to neighboring cabins, skillets and dog hair (we are not indoor pet owners)"

"We had a lovely time staying here! The property is beautiful and was in a great location for local hiking trails and access to lake Glenville. The hike on the property was a nice addition with a wonderful view of the mountains and plenty of birdwatching. The communication with the hosts was 10/10, they were very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again if we are back in the area."

"Our family had such a wonderful stay at Two Willows Horse Farm while visiting for a graduation at WCU. We were the first guests to stay, and it already felt welcoming, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The home is cute, charming, and relaxing, with everything we needed for a peaceful family getaway.The host was very responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We really appreciated the extra touches, especially having the linens and additional linens set out and clearly labeled in case we needed more. The horses on the property were absolutely gorgeous and added so much to the peaceful setting.We also hiked the High Falls Trail to a beautiful waterfall not far from the property, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We did not get a chance to try the on-site spa or equestrian therapy services while visiting, but they looked like a great addition for a relaxing stay. This is a perfect place for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing mountain getaway with beautiful views and a slower pace. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it."

"The house overall was very nice and we enjoyed our stay in the house. The house is surrounded by trees which was nice. We did have some issues. First we had septic odors mainly in the first floor bathroom and outside where the I assume the septic tank was located. We notified the host by email and he responded 12 hrs later and said the p-traps might be dry and need to run water in all sinks etc. Tried that and it did not help, next he said that in the half bath there was a small box of Septifix - drop two tablets into the toilet and flush. This seems to be an on going problem and should have been addressed in the "house book". The tablets helped with the odor for a while, I had to reapply a few days later.We also had issues with water pressure. Several times while taking a shower the water pressure would drop and several times stop all together. We also had low or no water pressure other times during our stay. The water pressure would eventually return but it was very annoying.When the temps dropped outside the lower level would not get warm. I believe this was an issue with other guest. Notes in the house book addressed this issued and contributed it to using the fire place, but we were not using the fire place that much.The hot water (when there was water pressure) was great, but I would recommend to anyone with young children to be mindful of how hot the water can get. I think the hot water was turned to high because on it's own someone could get burned."
