"It was very clean and cozy. The weather was still cold to catch any fish so we stayed in more than planned. Located in a convenient spot. Close to restaurants and party store. Just over an hour to Traverse city. Not too far for groceries. Only could stay 3 nights. Communication from owners A. My husband made a good choice for our short getaway. Close to the lake and a marina. I would go back here. "

"The pool and hot tub area are updated and beautiful. It looks great. Breakfast area was clean and a good variety. Rooms were clean but very outdated bathrooms shower and bathtub were old and needed a lot of TLC. The entrance way to our room was in bad shape as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again."

"I've stayed at Woodland Motor Lodge many times and it's always excellent. I wouldn't stay here if it wasn't. Also, the beds are great and the price is very competitive. You won't go wrong staying here."
