"We enjoyed a lovely week at the Gite. The house was a very comfortable , cool, converted barn with a well equipped kitchen / dining room and a nice outside space for eating too. The pool area was lovely - very clean and peaceful. The bathroom is relatively basic with only one (separate) toilet. Lovely comfortable beds and beautiful surrounding countryside. Thank you for a great holiday! "

"After initially staying for 10 days we then went to the Dordogne for a week. I wish we’d have stayed here the whole time! Still you live and learn. The gite is very clean, well equipped with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen with plenty of space to park your car. I have to say I’m a bit fussy, bringing my own bedding and towels but I didn’t need them here. The pristine white bedding and towels were changed every 5 days. "This property is a peaceful shangrila. Our hosts Barbara and Kevin couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The property is an enclosed peace of paradise. After cognac tasting, going to the local farmers market, kayak races and wandering the lovely village of Jarnac we always looked forward to returning to our gite. "We feel very fortunate to have stayed here. Modern farmhouse interiors, horse pastures surrounded by forest and a gracious host and family leave us feeling only one regret - that we did not stay longer. / Nous nous sentons très chanceux d'avoir séjourné ici. "The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are alright too. But the location of the hotel is convenient only if the purpose of your trip is to visit the Cartoon Museum, which is around the corner. "Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"
