Open year-round, The Outback Hideaway reveals a different kind of beauty each season: the tender greens of May, the firefly glow of July, the golden blaze of October, and the hush of snowfall in December.
Wake to birdsong and morning mist drifting through the trees. Sip your coffee as sunlight pours through the windows, or wind down after a day of exploring beneath a sky filled with stars. Every detail — from the warm wood finishes to the thoughtful décor — has been designed to make you feel at home, grounded, and inspired.
Whether you’re here for a romantic weekend, a family adventure, or a quiet retreat, The Outback Hideaway at Hico offers the perfect blend of comfort and wilderness charm.

The Outback Hideaway remains peaceful and secluded throughout the colder season, but road conditions can vary in the West Virginia hills. Please plan accordingly and check forecasts prior to your trip.
