Relaxing retreat

The house was exactly as pictured. The beds were very comfotrtable and the kitchen well equipped. Hiawassee had great restaurants and there was many different places we could access the lake for paddling.

Stay at The Overlook Nook!

Our family loved staying at The Overlook Nook for the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen is well stocked and the home is clean and well thought out for guests. It’s out of the crowds of Helen and convenient to everything needed in Hiawassee. Thanks for hosting us!

Overlook nook

Like the property. All of our group is 74+ and the stairs to the second level are very steep. Probably would look for a properly with two bedrooms on the main level. Loved the screen porch.

Mother's Day Gift

My daughter bought tickets to see Deana Carter as a Mother's Day gift. We decided to get a cabin and this one fit the bill. My 15 year old granddaughter went with us which made it a special weekend and she made me promise we would come back to this cozy cabin. We hope to do just that!! Enjoyed - so cozy and decorated so perfectly.

Cozy for sure!

A bit smaller in the kitchen and main sitting room then we'd hoped for, but cozy, clean and nicely decorated. Porches were great (but cold weather prevented us from using them as much as we'd hope). Easy access. Good communication with the owner.

Great location

This cabin was so cute. It was clean, kitchen well supplied. Beds are very comfortable as well. The common area down stairs is great for teenagers or kids. Communication with Katie was excellent. Gave us some great tips on the area. Be sure to take in sunset on Bell Mtn! I would love to see a TV in the master bedrooms next time we visit and has a great porch area for a jacuzzi Katie! Lol

Beautiful cabin

The only thing I can possibly complain about was that the on line listing (satellite photos only) do not do it justice. It looked to be in a normal neighborhood which thankfully it is not. The topography is left out and can not be truly determined until you get there.

Get away to the mountains

We truly enjoyed our visit to North Georgia. The home is very charming a cozy. The other homes on the street were vacant or very quiet. (We stayed in an off peak season) Beautiful scenic drive around the area and to the mountains for hiking. We had most all our meals in the house which was really great with the options of dinning in or out on the patio/terrace. We did see a reaction of allergies with the members of the family who are more sensitive to pet/seasonal. I would recommend an alternative home if you do have allergies as its tough to get out all signs of pet/hairs between guests.

Long Weekend at Overlook Nook

We enjoyed our time at Overlook Nook. The overall layout of the cabin was great and the kitchen area was very nice. Our favorite part of the cabin was definitely the screened porch. We spent most of our time relaxing and playing games out there with our dogs. We appreciate the Webb family’s hospitality.
