Hiawassee’s remarkable mountains and unabashed beauty welcome all outdoor enthusiasts at this 3-bedroom, 3-bath vacation rental cabin. With 2,000 square feet of living space, three spacious decks, mountain and lake views, and room for up to 6 guests, this home is truly a mountain paradise. Enjoy a day at Lake Chatuge, hike the Appalachian Mountains, or swim underneath gorgeous waterfalls. If the outdoor adventures have worn you out, head back home to enjoy the fire pit on the luxurious back porch or enjoy an afternoon grilling out on the master BBQ grill!

Enjoy the serenity and seclusion of this rustic mountain cabin, set amidst mountain views and forested surroundings. As soon as you step inside, unpack and make yourself right at home amidst the vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and rustic decor.
If you can’t keep your eyes off the mountains, the best view is on the back deck. On those warm summer days, you’ll love grilling up a barbecue feast for your loved ones before dining under the stars.
When the weather isn’t fairing, you’ll have everything you need amidst the cabin’s 2,000 square feet of living space. Curl up in the front of one of the 2 fireplaces with a new book or watch a favorite movie on one of the flat-screen satellite TVs.
Whenever hungers strikes, whip up a quick snack or a hearty meal in the fully equipped kitchen. While you’ll want to enjoy most of your meals out on the deck, you’ll also find a small 2-person table and 6-person dining table right off the kitchen.
Come nighttime, settle into one of 3 well-appointed bedrooms. When you wake up ready to seize the day, step back onto the deck to sip a morning coffee as the sunrise paints the mountains in golden hues.

Girls weekend!

This is my third stay at this property. Very nice and close to many things to do. Having three floors with a bathroom on each floor is really nice. The back porch is so relaxing!

Amazing views!

This is the perfect, cozy getaway with more than enough room to accommodate a large group. The view of the trees and the lake were amazing and the patio and balcony are the perfect places to gather at night to take in the view.

This is our second women’s group retreat at Happy Top. It’s so peaceful and clean. The porch is so relaxing. The owners are wonderful hosts! There’s so much to do nearby too.

Motorcycle vacation

The house is beautiful and well stocked with everything you may need. The view from back deck is outstanding. Driveway was little hairy on motorcycle but we worked through it. We had such a wonderful time will surely come back.

Relaxing retreat!

Our group of 5 women spent the weekend and it was perfection! Sitting on the porch talking and laughing until sunset was the most relaxed I’ve been in years! The view is gorgeous, the beautiful home has everything you need and the owners are so, so kind. We will be back soon and plan to make this our bi-annual meeting place from now on.

Awesome porch with an amazing view

Great rustic decor through out.

This is a beautiful home! Decorated very tastefully throughout. Very private basement area. Not the best set up for small children or elderly. Stairs are steep. No yard space to play. There is a good bit of road noise when sitting on porch but the lake view is very relaxing! Overall a great place!!

Excellent location and beautiful cabin

Lovely view of the lake but the highway noise is really loud, making outdoor time very limited. The cabin was perfect for our needs, although had I known that only 1 bedroom was on the main level and the other 2 required stairs, I might have passed. Some of our elderly friends had a very hard time navigating this many stairs. We loved that it was so close to town, accessible to everything we wanted. Decorated and maintained beautifully. I would not hesitate to rent this again with my family. If you have a group of seniors who have difficulty with stairs, then this may not be the place for you but it is perfect for younger couples, families, and other groups without mobility issues. The downstairs was like having another home altogether with a dining and living room in addition to the bedroom and bath- what a wonderful bonus!

Could live on the back porch!

This has to be one of the cleanest, most welcoming cabin my family has stayed at in a very long time. From the gas fire pit and comfy deck furniture with warm throws, to the wonderful king bed in the loft. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you need. You can see the lake and mountains from the living room and deck. There is some traffic noise from the well traveled road below it, but it is a mere distraction that you tend to ignore because of the view and relaxed setting. The short road going to the cabin is one lane, but we never had a problem with any oncoming car. We were able to manage the road and parking area with our full size crew cab truck, so that was not an issue. Our teenaged grandson was very happy to have the whole basement to himself with his own bedroom, bath and living area.You can tell the owners want the best experience for their renters by providing an extremely clean, comfortable and well stocked cabin in the beautiful area of Hiawassee.
