The property appeared very well taken care of. The staff was friendly and communicated with me very well in English. They had no obligation to do so, but they did it for me. I appreciate that above all else. There were other amenities at the property such as a gym and a sauna that I had no use for since my health is not appropriate for such activities. The location seems to be depopulated after 17:00, but that’s ok. It’s close to Alexanderplaz. The Klosterstraße U-Bahn station (U2 line) is across the street and the Rotes Rathouse station (U5 line) is maybe 4 blocks away. The breakfast options were all quite good. The room was clean and modern. The AC wasn’t as cold as my non-European comfort level would prefer, but the windows tilt open. One interesting thing to check out are the locks on the Spree river, just a short walk from the hotel....
