"The property was clean and well maintained. The staff were well presented and extremely efficient. The only thing that disappointed was the downstairs bar closed early and you had to be dressed up to use the rooftop bar which we weren’t but just wanted a quick drink before going to bed."

"Four friends on a weekend city break. Both our rooms were set up as twin beds as requested. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, as females we do like to be able to spread out make up and hair styling equipment, there was no mirror on the desk. We have stayed in many hotels and this is the first time we have come across this. Breakfast was fantastic, the choice, quantity and quality of food on offer was excellent and surprisingly good value. I must highly commend your reception staff who went above and beyond in helping one of our party who suffered a fall outside the hotel. Offering ice packs, wheelchair, escorting us to the railway station. Their kindness and help made a very difficult situation for our friend more comfortable. Our friend was eventually diagnosed with a fracture of the ankle later that evening. I would more than recommend The Queen Hotel, its location, value for money, fantastic food and decor. But above all else - the staff, you looked after us so well."

"The hotel is very well presented and maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was appropriate for our needs, as was the breakfast. The proximity to the railway station made this hotel very appealing for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay here. Thank you."

"Generally a good stay. Some of the rooms seem a bit tired, but we were happy with our recently refurbished room. The hotel is a great location for exploring the local area and has a good restaurant for breakfast and bar area. We also enjoyed the complementary access to the spa/pool."

"The room would benefit from more 3 pin sockets - there are none near the bed! Loads of street parking outside, way cheaper than the discounted nearby QPark. Hotel is well located, and very comfortable."
