"Close to train station. Beautiful area. Very good quality food at restaurant. Friendly staff. Room service was poor however. And despite hanging towels, housekeeping replaced towels daily which defeats eco friendliness. Finally, WiFi was poor"

"It was a good stay. Nice food in the restaurant and good beers on draught. The pool and sauna were a welcome bonus."

"Overall stay at Bastion was acceptable but was let down by lack of attention to detail i.e. numerous requests for extra towels and toilet rolls. Also TV did not work and at the end of our stay had still not been resolved ( hotel notified 3 times). No kettle in room and again 3 requests before it ..."

"Staff answered all questions. One BIG problem… I booked it through Expedia in February…. It was on my Credit card statement which I paid. I was billed again at the hotel and now I have pending charges in my bill substantially greater than what I already paid following the booking."
