"The rooms were above a restaurant and bar in a very old building. We had a very friendly welcome and we were able to eat a 3 course lunch when we arrived as we were hungry after walking. The room was lovely and large and the bathroom had a great shower. It was easy to find and the hotel was able to accommodate our luggage transfer. The hotel is right on the Camino path. "

"Fantastic welcome on a very hot afternoon. Couple of flights of stairs up to the room. Fantastic view of the river below from the room. No aircon but super quiet and pleasant with the large window open during the stay."

"We chose this hotel because it was an hour from Santander and just off our main route from Portugal to the ferry port for the UK. Lovely town with impressive old centre and lovely riverside walks. Lively market the day we arrived (Tuesday). Be aware that self-parking is actually free on-street parking but area seems very secure so we left most of our extensive contents in car and had no problem. Also,hotel restaurant non-functioning so sought dinner in town and nowhere open until 9pm. But several decent restaurants and very reasonably priced bars available at that time. Overall, the hotel was clean and very modern and service was good with a decent, buffet breakfast served. Would use again. "
