Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was beautiful and close to the boat ramp. Lots of parking so you could plug the boat in. Very clean and decorated so pretty. Lots of dishes and pots and pans. We couldn't have been happier with the location and the cabin. We will stay there again when we go to the lake.. The cabins name is Stowaway and the owners are fantastic. They also has a boat shop if you need anything he definitely would be able to help you .

The Stowaway

This is our 2nd stay at the cottage. They have made changes with an open roof over the patio in the front. Many games, movies, & books to enjoy. A perfect place to getaway for a weekend or week. Very clean!! Nice yard for your dog to roam in!! We highly recommend The Stowaway!!

Great stay

This is a great place to stay if fishing the lake. Close to boat ramp and trading post for all your needs. Easy to get to lots of parking very nice and friendly owners. Will stay again.

Great Getaway

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and it doesn't disappoint. Great location. Not too far from the boat ramp. Hosts are absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to stay again.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at your cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. Everything that we were looking for to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We would stay there again without question. Do yourself a favor and eat at the Crappie Hole right down the road!

The cottage was decorated so nicely and we felt very welcome. I will say the master bed is quite uncomfortable but there are 2 pullout couches to choose from. The amenities were great!!!

Beautiful

I was impressed by how much I loved this place. After booking I was expecting a nice place to stay but was wonderfully surprised by just how nice it is. The cabin felt new, it was very clean, taken care of very well and had everything I would ever want. The layout and decor makes it feel a lot larger then it is which is very nice. The views of the lake are breathtaking (especially around sunset) and with just a short walk to the water I was able to enjoy both the lake and privacy. I cannot wait to book again and spend more time her.

Perfect Spot

This cottage was adorable and just minutes to the boat ramp. Plenty of parking if you are bringing your boat. The owners are awesome. They let us change our dates due to the weather and they let us check in early which helped alot since we came from Iowa. Highly recommend and I can't wait to book again. Thanks.

1st VRBO stay

We simply loved the Stowaway by the Lake!! Pictures are spot on, but had more room than expected. Our dog loved the big yard. There was also extra dishes for her food & water! Nice big tv in living room with a lot of channels. Nice kitchen area, but we didn’t get a chance to use it. This was a long weekend to attend Drag Boat races at Lucas Oil Complex. Owners were super responsive! We hope to stay again when in the area. This place is 5 stars!!

What a wonderful little cottage! It’s brand new & spotless.

This little cabin is just wonderful! It’s brand new & decorated so cute. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The shower is so nice with a rain shower & plenty of towels. Motion light under the mirror over sink is a nice touch so that if anyone is sleeping on sleep sofa in the living room you’re not disturbing them in the middle of the night. Ceiling fans in each room are nice & modern. The fire pit was a nice place to end the evening. Several drive ins & restaurants right down the street. Nice swim beach close by & not too crowded. We had a wonderful little getaway for my husband’s birthday & can’t wait to go back. The owners are wonderful & always very accommodating & quick to answer any questions we had. Even surprised us with bringing us some firewood & birthday card when we arrived. It’s the little touches that mean so much. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a nice & quite, little getaway to rest & relax.

Wonderful Weekend Get Away

We loved our stay at Stowaway! The whole experience was wonderful! The owners thought of everything which made for a really nice stay! The check-in/out process was very easy and the owners were very easy to get a hold of if we needed something. We loved the lake decor and the place was quaint yet spacious enough for my family of four. The home was very comfortable with lots of amenities included like towels, blankets, pillows, and even a blow dryer. The kitchen was filled with dishes, silverware, and all the necessary tools and appliances we needed. We were able to cook several meals while we were there. The place was quiet, yet located near enough to the swimming beach and marina. We spent one day at the beach and the other day we rented a pontoon boat. We were very lucky that the weather was perfect to light the fire pit both evenings we were there. The kids (teenagers) rode all around on the bikes exploring the neighborhood. They found a cove right across the street and rode the bikes up to the Trade Post to get some snacks. We had a GREAT weekend getaway and are already talking about coming back again! Thank you for the comfort and hospitality! We loved it!
