Perfect location!
This is a beautiful home, with all amenities included. Just a short walk out the back gate to downtown wineries, the shuttle service, the Amtrak station, shopping & coffee! The stairs are a little steep to the upper two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but the three of us really enjoyed our stay!TWe used one of the two downstairs king-size bedrooms and bathroom, which worked wonderfully for our stay too! We would all highly recommend staying at this delightful, historic home! When we return to Hermann, MO, we will definitely stay here again!

Hermann Girls weekend
Cute house. Well maintained. Perfect for a group of girls to enjoy Hermann. Easy check in and check out. I do think the oven temp needs adjusted. It probably is about 50 degrees lower than it should be. Also- plan to pack waters as the city water is a bit sulfur smelling. Fine for showering and bathrooms, but not for drinking.

Beautiful house
We stayed here the weekend our son got married. We were very impressed with the decor, and space within the house! There were 6 of us and there was more than enough room. The location is PERFECT for exploring the town on foot. The upstairs bathrooms have tiny showers that don't seem to get hot water, but the main floor bathroom gets warm enough. More importantly, the only thing keeping me from booking again would be the beds in the rooms on the main floor. Both rooms have king sized beds, which is larger than expected, but they are the firmest most uncomfortable mattresses. This could be corrected by adding mattress toppers, and it is desperately needed! I really hope owners read this and make that change because I would absolutely LOVE to stay here again with my family, but we have to be able to sleep.

Great location; beautifully decorated; plenty of space and amenities. Only issue was that it was a little cold in the house and we couldn’t actually find contact info to call if we had an issue.

Late fall in Hermann
Very spacious, clean, tasteful property, but we had some issues. Arrived late afternoon on a Saturday for a four day visit to cold and rainy weather so checked into house before hitting town. House was chilly, so following instructions adjusted thermostat before leaving to explore and have dinner. Returned to no heat. We braved Saturday night with space heaters. It took several attempts to reach host/manager, who had additional heaters delivered Sunday afternoon. House was below 60 when we returned Sunday evening. Even tho we judiciously spaced the new heaters we blew several breakers. Couldn't find distribution panel/box in the dark and manager didn't return communication for help until Monday morning when someone came by to flip thrown breakers and set thermostat instructions clearly said to leave off. As others mentioned, bathroom drains are slow to drain. Property is in the immediate downtown area and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Shops, historical sites, and restaurants are close (nothing to do with property--if you stay over Monday night plan to eat in as restaurants are closed for dinner). Take coffee if you like a cup before you head out to explore the area.
