"Tidy and clean but also many spiders webs around the place. The cooking pans were unusable we had to ring for safe ones. The ones there were old teflon: scraped ones known to be toxic once the teflon is harmed. The host brought two stainless steel ones to us. The large knife broke in my hand upon first use which could have been dangerous. I only cooked the one night after this. "A great house for us, 3 adults & 111 year old. Convenient for showing family the beaches & getting on a Cape Reinga trip! Shops & restaurants within 2 km. Just beautiful looking out the ranch sliders & kitchen window.Only downers were no curtain on a small highup window in double room - we covered it cos we didnt want to wake up with the sun : ). Also would have appreciated a hose connection for washing sandy swimwear outside & a connection inside to use the washing machine. Wouldve contacted...
