"The hotel is in a beautiful location, near mountain views, a quaint bridge and river. The hotel has a restaurant attached with amazing food. Breakfast was well worth it. The room itself was newly updated. It had a fan, radiator, heated towel racks, and a very comfortable bed. They had cute snacks, water, and hot cocoa in the room!"

"There are a few on street parking areas right in front that are available to use between 6pm - 8/9:00 am. The rooms are above a bar but it closed down around 11:00. Any room on the third floor is the quietest, but very hot and there are no fans. While the window opens, it took forever to cool down and never really got below 72 to sleep. We stayed in late June. "Parking situation SO Bad. No help had to drag our badge to and from our room up hill in loose stones. Rooms very small. Good views. Nice breakfast."

"The perfect location for all of your Isle of Skye exploration. Nice staff and good clean rooms. My husband and I found the room nice with a beautiful first floor view of the grounds but a little cramped and maybe needing a little refresh. We were told it was an upgrade due to the view, however the room was next to the housekeeping closet which meant it was quite loud early in the morning. The breakfast each morning was lovely. Everyone we met on staff was really helpful and kind."

"Main issue with the property is it’s location, the state of the access road which is narrow and full of pot holes and some of the rooms. They gave us a room in the attic which was more like a closet turned into a room. The bed was small and not comfortable. We were jet lagged and woke up late so couldn’t try the breakfast, but we did try the bar which was good but overpriced."

"This hotel has a lovely view from the entrance and restaurant. Up on the hill, we had a large room but found the water view to be not what we had expected and hoped for. The food was good at the restaurant for dinner but the service could increase their attentiveness as we felt forgotten during our meal. Our service and experience at breakfast was better and the breakfast was very good."

"A very pleasant stay. Breakfast and evening meals were particularly good. The evening meals can easily compete with any good restaurant on the island. A gem. The hotel is remote. There is a 2-mile narrow road with potholes to navigate to get to the property. Consequently, I left in the morning and returned late afternoon, spending the day on other activities. The hotel has a retreat-like quality. The sunroom is a wonderful space for rest and contemplation, or reading and games and conversation....

"This was the perfect location for our Skye adventure. The house fit our group of 4 perfectly, and we enjoyed the wonderful views of the beach. Communication with the owner was easy after doing a quick google search on how to make an international call (when I’m from the states). I throughly enjoyed my stay!"
