"The view from the cabin was exquisite, with a large deck. Fishing and activities were nearby. We especially liked being outside of a town, watching the birds and boats fishing. The cabin is located so that hikes are very nearby. We cooked a couple of nights in as the cabin had all that you need to cook a meal."

"Couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience in Svolvær. Beautiful lobby with free coffee. WiFi speeds were great for some remote work/downloading some offline content for later travel. Room was immaculate, and the bathroom had a rainfall shower and heated floor, which was fantastic. TV in the room was even equipped with a sound bar you could connect your phone to and play music from, or enjoy TV (your own Netflix or other casted media) without the tinny sound from the TV. Staff was super friendly, and the hotel was located smack-dab in the middle of Svolvær, making it easy to get everywhere around the city. "

"The location of this hotel was great. It overlooked the sea which is nice when having breakfast and its conveniently located in Svolvaer close to other shops and establishments. The condition of the room was clean and very comfortable."

"Spectacular location. Beautiful little self contained rorbuer (traditional red fisherman’s cottage) with a view across the water. Easy to prepare a meal in the cottage. Equally easy to walk over and have an excellent meal at the hotel restaurant. Much quieter and calmer than Svolvær which we really liked. Very interesting museum and art gallery a very short walk away."

"Great for our needs. No TV. Small beds. Safe. Small town. No lighting outside so careful entering when dark. This is most likely for viewing Northern lights. We used a flashlight. No staff or reception here. PROs: Beautiful location and views. Simple. On the water. Saw Northern Lights right outside the door. Easy check-in. (Cell service is strong across the islands, so no problem getting check-in email. Plus many places of business have free wifi.) CONs: Not many parking spaces compared to number of rooms. Need a bathmat of some sort. Shower water gets all over the floor. Need a lower outlet to use the kettle."
