"Suberb accusation and friendly guy"

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in this beautiful farmhouse for my 50th birthday get together. The hosts really have thought of everything. Cold sitting outside? The hosts have provided blankets, towels for the hot tub are stacked in the boot room nearest to the hot tub. Children attending are fantastically catered for with a range of indoor and outdoor games (we packed some but didn't need them). Holiday reads are neatly stacked if you forget your book, there's a doll's house for younger children. Outside there is a play kitchen, play house, trampoline, toy cars, balls. Honestly, don't worry if you forget anything. There is also a lovely little outside toilet for those wanting to stay outdoors. The outside lights are clearly and helpfully labelled. The kitchen is well stocked with all essential cookware for entertaining a crowd of people. Ample crockery, bakeware (pizza trays), serving dishes for party food and a huge dishwasher for the clean up operation. The beds are comfortable and the bedding is snuggly, each bed had its own towel bale. The house is set up in every way to be accommodating, way beyond the basics. The location is absolutely beautiful, high up in the Welsh mountains with panoramic views of open farmland, the secluded peacefulness made it hard to believe we were less than ten minutes from a supermarket! 10/10 from us, would highly recommend to anyone. This is the best holiday rental I have stayed in, amazing and thoughtful hosts, superb location and a lovely, lovely farmhouse."

10/10 Excellent

"We found the location to be on the right side of isolated. We quickly fell in love with the Taff Bargoed Valley and its surrounds. Each day tempted us to take a new lane up into the moors and explore the places we were driving through to get to our chosen destination for that day.The dog walking area is close and a joy to walk to and through. The local shop is no distance and supplied enough for for our needs. The beds and pillows are comfy as is the sofa.Having a dishwasher was a bonus, although we did have to provide our own tablets.Although we didn't use the external storage area our son was keen to explore what was in it, if anything. As an explanation for not scoring everything 5 out of 5 would be, somebody else jeans left behind a bedroom door, a piece of chewed gum found in a bedroom and some of the glasses and bowls had been returned to the cupboard without being washed properly. When checking in the email from VRBO issue the wrong key code to release the door lock, this matter was eventually resolved as the correct code is present in the digital hand book issued previously by Si.Overall though we had a fantastic holiday and would use Kilex House again.Food in the Ganland Inn (Trelewis) is good and the chippy, Jo's, is excellent. Both listed in the hand book."
