"We stayed in a family room which was on the third floor. The both lifts were out of order and had been for sometime apparently. This made it a bit tricky with 2 children's stuff for 2 days and having to carry it up 2 flights of stairs. The hotel itself is looking tired in places. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. "The hotel was very ‘tired’ looking. Our room had condensation on a large window that wouldn’t go, it looked awful! Broken window in the bathroom. The bed!!!! On wheels with spindly little legs, every turn was accompanied with squeaks and springs going. The room had a ‘smoky’ smell, clearly it had been smoked in. The paint in the room was patchy and NOTHING like the photos on line. How is this a 3 star hotel????? 2 at best and that’s being generous. Hideous loud talking neighbour. 10am chuck out...
