"Bed and pillows very comfortable. Glad bar was open late as I arrived quite late. Breakfast fantastic! So many choices and laid out well so accommodated a big crowd very well. Design of hotel all felt very high end."

"This hotel is a good choice for travellers needing an overnight close to Heathrow Airport, it is just a short walk from Hatton Cross Underground station, one stop from Heathrow terminals 1,2 and 3 on the Piccadilly Line. Despite its proximity to the airport, we noticed no noise from aircraft. Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, though I would have liked more options (muesli, fruit, bread rolls, pastries) for those not wanting a full English breakfast."
Mitre House Hotel

"We have stayed several times at the Mitre. Very old building - rooms are very small. But there is an elevator! Which is the slowest one on the planet. There is hot tea in reception and the breakfast hasn't changed in several years. Note to American travelers - washcloths are not provided in most European countries. Bring your own. The Mitre is about 10 minute walk to Paddington train station. The owners are very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel."

"On arrival met by very friendly staff. Went straight to my room (6th floor- no lift) on arrival nice large room basic furniture and a sink A double bed (requested) and a single. Shower and toilet same floor couple Mt's away. Comfy bed. I didn't have breakfast on offer till 9am. Great location...quite....and very good value for money!! I will be back and will request lower floor!"
