"I loved the character of the hotel, nice to have something that’s not clinical and neutral as some chain hotels are. Needed a shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries on but just a small thing, otherwise good amenities. Close to the park and ride, really handy for getting into York just £4 return. Would definitely stay here again."

"It was very nice, only criticism I’d have is we arrived 10 mins late for breakfast which we’d paid for, so were told they missed it 😔they hadn’t even finished clearing away and considering they serve food all day, I’d have thought they could of offered us something rather than recommend a cafe by the river, so a bit disappointing on that score."
