"A very enjoyable three night stay at the Stables. A lovely conversion with just the right level of accommodation and facilities for us two and our dog. A quality finish throughout and plenty of space in each room for a comfortable relaxed time. The location is idyllic with the quiet surrounding countryside and the canal and locks alongside. "Lovely property, very spacious. Can make sure the dog mess is cleared from the lawn. We were approached just before 10.30am on our last day as we were about to leave and told we should be out of the property by 10am and the cleaner had been waiting since 10.05am. On the information it states you don’t have to leave until 10.30. "

"A brilliant house in a beautiful village. The owners are so welcoming and very helpful. The house is excellent with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Walking distance to local pub and kids play area. We will be going back next year."

"The property has not been well maintained. There was a rear patio but clearly the garden had not been maintained this year. The property was marketed as a six person property but you had not provided bowels and teaspoons for six. You provided a dish washer but we could not use it as we needed things for next meal. The stairs were death trap and had to be used with care. We could not open the windows to let fresh air. Overall it was not up to the standard that we normally find"

"The house is large, well laid out and proportioned, with 5 bedrooms, 3 ensuite and one family bathroom, separate downstairs toilet, in a great location with a good number of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Easy on street parking. Kitchen is huge and we mainly gathered there. A touch too windy to enjoy the garden but did use the outdoor table tennis table. There were some teething issues but the host responded quickly and well. However I have to agree with previous feedback:...

"We stayed over the Christmas period with all of the family and the house was just perfect. Sarah and Kim were there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. The house was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. The house had everything we needed, a formal room where we could all be together and also lots of cosy snugs. The grounds were also well kept and we enjoyed walking around the garden. Would highly recommend the house to anybody wishing to find somewhere...
