"Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you."

"The property was ideal for a large extended family get together. Comfortable bedrooms and shared rooms, with nice private garden to relax in when sunny. It had all the facilities we needed and was clean throughout. Phillipa, the host, was always responsive on messages and gave us a lovely welcome gift of warm bread and cake. "It is a tiny, but wonderful, cottage. It is so homely and ‘liveable’ and the owner, Katie, has obviously tried to provide everything you might need to enjoy a comfortable stay. "When searching for a property near to Bakewell my priority was a property all on one level due to disabilities as well as taking dogs. This was perfect. A stunning rural location close to amenities as well as travelling distance to surrounding areas, Bakewell, Castleton etc. The cottage was beautifully warm and cosy with comfortable beds, 1 double and 2 bunk beds and well equiped kitchen etc. The location was stunning, mill stream running in front of the cottage, a pond with a meadow to watch...

"A great little cottage with plenty of amenities, however disappointed to only have 2 wine glasses and 4 mugs for a group of 6 ladies, who all love wine and all love tea, which made it very challenging and annoying. Would recommend for anybody looking to venture to sherwood forest area, as very close to sherwood forest visitor centre. a great Italian restaurant in the village too, 100 yards from the cottage, which was lovely. all in all a great cottage and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again."
