"The hotel is very modern. The standard room is luxurious and has everything you could need, including the three main things I value - comfy bed, excellent shower and quiet surrounds (even being literally on top of the footpath on a Sat night). The restaurant Dolly is lovely for dinner and the buffet breakfast there was wonderful. The staff were lovely and really helpful. Had an issue with the third party parking which they assisted with. Nice location up the top end of town, great for theatres, sport and shopping. Really could not fault anything and we’ll be back for sure."

"Although we only stayed one night it was really worthwhile. The bed was so comfy. We didn’t hear any traffic or trains. It was a nice neighbourhood to walk to the major sporting venues. The only complaint is the mix messages we received at reception about the security deposit and parking. One person said that the $50 parking would be taken out from the security despite but when it came to departure we were told no parking was a seperate payment. I was then told once the room was cleaned the security deposit would be reversed, so perhaps I had unexpected expectations that the deposit would be back in my account by the end of the day. Perhaps more information about car parking and security deposits etc?? However we would be happy to stay here again, as now we know how it works. It was such a good find. "

"Good hotel with lots of history in perfect position for MCG and other stadiums. My only negative was in our room you could not open windows. Will stay again but ask for room with opening windows. "
